Prayer wheel—initiation of momentum and then cultivating consistency

Prayer is so much more than a transaction with God. We’re not just doing business with the Father.

It’s personally transformational, like a son or daughter are transformed by their connection and interaction with their father.

Fruitful, effective prayer begins with Father God. It’s completed as we tune our hearts to hear him clearly.

🎯 We lean into the Father’s heart—what’s on His mind? What does He desire to accomplish?

🎯 We hear his voice through his Word—the forever agency through which He acts, past, present, and future.

🎯 We catch the Wind of His Spirit—angling our sails to align with his direction and energy from above.

This is what I mean by getting the “prayer wheel” turning.

Not a religious artifact or ritual, but a vibrant, relational process:

God speaks His thoughts and words to us, and we return them to Him in heartfelt supplication, intercession, and prayer pleas.

Prayer isn’t static, it’s a living rhythm …

For America, and for our personal lives as we engage the early weeks of the year, shaping the contours of 2025.

Let’s pray over the SWEARING IN OF THE NEW 119TH CONGRESS on Friday, January 3, 2025. Pray for governmental integrity and order.

Establish prayer cover for the CERTIFICATION OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION before a joint session of Congress this Monday, January 6. Congress reviews the certified Electoral College votes from each state. If there are no objections or all objections are resolved, the final count is announced, and the winner of the presidential election is officially declared. Pray for peace, order, and governmental integrity.

Let’s join together in prayer for the SENATE’S ROLE IN REVIEWING AND APPROVING APPOINTEES for the new administration. Pray for wisdom in decision-making, efficient use of time, and a commitment to governmental order. Let’s believe for an administration that sets a high standard—standing firm against lawlessness and incompetence.

Let’s also cover the UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION ON MONDAY, JANUARY 20TH. Ask for God’s hand in ensuring security, maintaining order, and fostering a peaceful transition of power.

Let’s CONTEND IN FAITH FOR A SOCIETAL RESET. Our nation has been moving swiftly toward a progressive agenda, edging closer to Marxist ideals. Many Americans now see the dangers. Father, we intercede for a PIVOT TO TRUE JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS.
