Reaffirming a four-hundred-year-old covenant

Thank you for standing in agreement prayer!
I’ve been navigating a bout of shingles (didn’t know what it really meant until now!). That’s why we didn’t send out the newsletter last week. Your prayers for healing mean a lot. The Lord is faithful, and I’m trusting Him for a complete and quick recovery.

We’re revisiting this prayer emphasis on the 1607 Kingdom covenant because it’s so foundational—so primal—to America’s spiritual DNA. From God’s view, covenants and prayers don’t expire—they live forever. We can reopen these ancient wells and release their living water into our time.

We can draw on America's founding prayers, covenants, documents, and early experiences as "prayer architecture" for today. Adapt the prayer language below to your prayer voice as the Holy Spirit leads.
🛐 Activating Prayer
Father, we step into agreement with the covenant made in 1607—a dedication of this land for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We declare once more: let this be a place where the Good News goes forth, godly generations arise, and the Kingdom advances to the ends of the earth.
Let this covenant echo through time. Reopen the well of consecration. Let those who now live on this land remember and respond. Awaken hearts to join this work—so that the holy Scriptures may be fulfilled and Christ exalted in every place.
We honor the cross of Jesus Christ they planted in the soil. And we plant it again in prayer—now, in our time. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
