The “Liberty Tree”—create rallying points for freedom
In the years leading up to the American Revolution, a prominent elm tree in Boston became one of the most powerful symbols of resistance against tyranny.
Known as the Liberty Tree, it was a gathering place where the Sons of Liberty met to strategize, protest, and boldly declare their opposition to British oppression.
Paul Revere described these crucial gatherings:
"Under the branches of that stately elm, we gathered to speak boldly of liberty and plot the course of freedom for ourselves and our posterity."
These weren't just meetings—they were the forging of a nation's spirit.
The British understood the power of this symbol. During the siege of Boston in 1775, British soldiers cut down the Boston Liberty Tree. They were hoping to silence the revolutionary spirit.
But they could not stop the momentum—by then, the cause of freedom had taken deep root.
The Liberty Tree was a rallying point where vision took shape, courage was kindled, and strategies for resistance were forged. Under its branches, men exchanged ideas, organized efforts, and strengthened their resolve for the fight ahead.
In the same way, the people of God must rally and gather. It could be online or a physical meeting. They will be a source of strength for one another. Ideate. Motivate. Organize. Pray. Get arrows pointing in the same direction for America in our time.
A faith and resolve that won’t be cut down
The enemy always seeks to silence truth, just as the British tried to erase the symbol and rallying point of liberty. But when God plants something, it cannot be uprooted. Let’s pray with that confidence—asking for deep spiritual roots, bold voices, and a Church that stands immovable in this hour.
🗝️ Kingdom prayer key
Life-giving prayer is like walking and talking with Jesus in those “cool of the day” moments … just as Adam and Eve did in Eden. It’s where we're shaped, mentored, and prepared for the purpose he’s designed for us.

Rallying points
This week, we pray for rallying points—spaces and places where believers gather in prayer, united in purpose and courage, to stand firm for freedom.
🦅 Father, You are our rock—unmovable and always our refuge. Like the Liberty Tree, which stood as a beacon of courage and gathering, we ask You to raise up a people of prayer who will rally and stand for righteousness, justice, and freedom. Pour out vision and courage on the Ekklesia (Church). Give us fresh strategies and a willingness to come together, share ideas, and organize our efforts in the power of Your Spirit. 📖 “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 2:1, NKJV).
🦅 Father, thank You for strengthening Attorney General Bondi and the Trump administration to confront judicial activism. Bring lasting reform to our courts so that judges uphold the law with integrity, resisting the pressure to overreach. 📖"When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers" (Proverbs 21.15 ESV).
🦅 Thank you, Father, for covering the president, cabinet leaders, and Elon Musk with Your sovereign protection. Shield them from harm and death. Fill them with Your health and strength. 📖“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91.1 NKJV).
🦅 All-powerful God, we ask for your hand in ensuring GODLY SUCCESS IN ESTABLISHING THE NEW ADMINISTRATION. 📖“He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning” (Daniel 2.21 NIV).
