Freedom to Flourish — America’s Economic Soul
More Americans today view socialism favorably—especially the younger generations. But beneath the political noise lies a spiritual question: What do we believe about freedom, responsibility, and the dignity of work?
From the beginning, America’s DNA leaned toward liberty. Toward free enterprise under God. The founders saw ownership, labor, and creativity as sacred trusts … flowing from the truth that we’re made in God’s image to steward, not to be controlled.
Socialism promises fairness through central power. Capitalism, rightly ordered, releases initiative through personal virtue and stewardship. Without moral self-government, either system collapses. With righteousness, freedom flourishes.
Shockingly, Zohran Mamdani is a socialist who may become the mayor of New York City next week.
Our forebears prayed for a land where free people could labor, prosper, and give for God’s glory. Let’s pray that America remembers its economic calling. Not greed, but GENERATIVE FREEDOM.

Prayer Key🗝️ … Accelerate Through the Tape in Prayer
It’s never a good time to coast in prayer. Accelerate through the tape. Here’s the Apostle Paul: “I run in such a way as to win” (1 Corinthians 9:26, NASB). Winning triumphs.
SOMETIMES YOU’VE GOT TO PRAY THROUGH—press past the fatigue, delay, doubt. Jesus Himself said, “Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking” (hear the voice of Jesus in Matthew 7).
Apply it to the Macro (the destiny of a nation) and to the Micro (the course of your own life. Don’t pull up short. Pray until the finish line breaks beneath your feet!

💼 Initiative, work, fruitfulness. Father, teach us your heart for initiative and fruitfulness. Let us see labor as worship. Stewardship as sacred. Form in us a Kingdom Worldview—a Scriptural Worldview—so that what we do reflects your order, creativity, and generosity in the earth. Amen. Genesis 2.15, NASB — “The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.”
💰 Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25.14–30). Lord Jesus, you’ve entrusted each of us with gifts and opportunities. Teach us to invest what you’ve given… not to bury it in fear. Or comfort. Strengthen our faith and diligence so that when you return, we may hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
🛡️ Sovereign protection of our leaders. Father, we invoke your hand of protection over leaders in our nation. Foil the plans of lawlessness.
🔥 As you pray, tune in to the Father’s heart. Resonate with the sharp prayer edges he surfaces in the Spirit. Leave “white space” in prayer for improvisation.
